Chiropractic Care...What is it? (more than just cracks!)

Chiropractic care utilizes a variety of manipulation and soft-tissue techniques. Based on what the needs of each patient are, the most appropriate technique(s) & exercise/stretches are selected to provide the best care possible to patients.

Techniques Utilized Include:

Soft tissue techniques are used with chiropractic care when deemed appropriate, allowing for the joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments to receive therapy when they’ve become injured, sprained or strained. Attending to and treating the supporting structures around an injury increase the recovery time and help ensure a full recovery.

Exercises and stretches are also critical in providing the best care possible to patients and helping them get back to doing what they love. Specific movements are taught and prescribed for patients to perform on their own to aid the clinical therapy provided. Recovering from an injury requires teamwork, from the chiropractor and the patient!
